This pear and oat slice recipe is a great oat slice for lunchboxes. Try this healthy refined sugar free pear slice with rice malt syrup as a healthy afternoon snack recipe.
Ingreadient:
- 2 1/2 cups oats
- 1/2 cup plain flour
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup oat milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup rice malt syurp
- 1 small Pear, peeled, cored and fine diced
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup, to serve
Direction:
- Preheat oven to 180°C. Grease and line a slice pan
- In a medium sized mixing bowl, combine the dry ingredients
- In a medium sized jug, whisk all the remaining ingredients except for the pear and maple syrup
- Pour the liquid into the bowl and stir to combine. Stir through pears
- Pour into prepared pan and bake for 30 minutes or until cooked when tested
- Remove from oven and brush with maple syrup while warm. Cool completely before cutting into slices
