Elevate your taste buds with a quick and delightful Frypan Chicken & Pesto Toastie. This easy recipe combines brioche slices, spreadable butter, pesto, tasty cheese, shredded cooked chicken, thin avocado slices, and fresh rocket leaves. A burst of flavour that's simple to savour!
Ingreadient:
- 4 slices of brioche loaf
- Western Star Spreadable butter
- 2 tbsp pesto
- 4 Bega Tasty Cheese slices
- 120g shredded cooked chicken*
- ½ large avocado, thinly sliced
- Rocket leaves, to serve
Direction:
- Lay out brioche slices onto a flat work surface and spread one side with Western Star Spreadable butter.
- On the unbuttered side of 2 slices, place a slice of cheese, then top with pesto, chicken and avocado. Top with remaining cheese.
- Cover with second slice, making sure that the butter side is facing out.
- Preheat a large non-stick frying pan over medium low heat, then cook 3-4 minutes each side or until cheese has melted and bread is golden. Remove and serve immediately top with extra butter.
