Chicken Parmigiana Toastie

Enjoy the comfort of Chicken Parmigiana with a twist in this Chicken Parmigiana Toastie. Soft Panini rolls spread with soft butter are layered with chicken schnitzels, pasta sauce, basil leaves, and melted Perfect Mozzarella cheese. Topped with fresh spinach, it's a delicious, easy-to-make delight.

Ingreadient:

    • 2 soft Panini rolls, split in half
    • 2 cooked chicken schnitzels
    • 1/3 cup pasta sauce
    • ¼ cup fresh basil leaves
    • ½ cup Perfect Mozzarella cheese, sliced
    • Western Star Spreadable butter
    • Spinach leaves to serve

Direction:

    1. Place chicken on flat side of panini, the top with pasta sauce, basil leaves and cheese.
    2. Top with remaining panini half and sandwich together.
    3. Preheat a grill plate sandwich press, then add a spread of butter over the top for extra flavour and to get a golden crust. Cook until toasted and cheese has melted.
    4. Spread a little extra butter over the tops while still warm and serve immediately with some fresh spinach on the side.
