Super easy and wonderfully cheesy potato bake that'll have you wanting to make a roast dinner every night.
Ingreadient:
- 30 g butter, melted
- 8 (1.8 kg) floury potatoes, peeled and cut into thick slices
- 2 large cloves of garlic, finely sliced
- 2 cups (225 g) Perfect Italiano™ Perfect Bakes cheese
- 300 ml cream
- 1/3 cup (80ml) chicken stock
- 3 tsp. chopped fresh thyme
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
Direction:
- Preheat oven to 180°C / 160°C (fan-forced)
- Grease a large 4 litre (16 cup) baking dish with melted butter
- Layer potato and garlic slices into baking dish
- Whisk together cream, stock and thyme. Season with salt and pepper. Pour over potatoes. Sprinkle with the Perfect Bakes cheese
- Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and cook a further 60 minutes or until potatoes are tender and cheese is melted and golden brown. Stand for 10 minutes and serve hot
