This easy sweet and sour plum relish is ideal to pair with pork, duck or BBQ meats.
Ingreadient:
- 600g Plums, pitted and chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped finely
- 1 medium onion, chopped finely
- 3 tablespoon molasses
- 1 tablespoon verjuice
- 1/3 cup caster sugar
- 1 teaspoon each paprika and mixed spice
- Pork tenderloin, rice and pak choy, to serve
Direction:
- Heat an oiled heavy based saucepan, over medium high heat. Fry onion and garlic until softened and fragrant. Stir in plums and remaining ingredients
- Boil over high heat, then reduce to a simmer for 30 minutes or until thickened, stirring occasionally
- Season to taste
- Serve warm or cool with pork, steamed jasmine rice and pak choy
