BBQ Plum Relish BBQ Plum Relish

This easy sweet and sour plum relish is ideal to pair with pork, duck or BBQ meats.

Ingreadient:

    • 600g Plums, pitted and chopped
    • 2 cloves garlic, chopped finely
    • 1 medium onion, chopped finely
    • 3 tablespoon molasses
    • 1 tablespoon verjuice
    • 1/3 cup caster sugar
    • 1 teaspoon each paprika and mixed spice
    • Pork tenderloin, rice and pak choy, to serve

Direction:

    1. Heat an oiled heavy based saucepan, over medium high heat. Fry onion and garlic until softened and fragrant. Stir in plums and remaining ingredients
    2. Boil over high heat, then reduce to a simmer for 30 minutes or until thickened, stirring occasionally
    3. Season to taste
    4. Serve warm or cool with pork, steamed jasmine rice and pak choy
